As we all know,there are two thousand years of exchange history between China and Japan.Language and cultural exchanges are an important part of this.From the time of the Sui Dynasty,China began to receive deportees and students from Japan.Especially after entering the Tang and Ming dynasties,as the political and economic relations between China and Japan continued to deepen,China's attention to Japan continued to increase,and books related to recording Japanese words began to appear.However,until the late Qing Dynasty,Japanese education was established as a foreign language education in China.The Japanese education after the Qing Dynasty was far different from the Japanese education during the Ming Dynasty.At the end of the Qing Dynasty,there was a fundamental change in China's understanding of Japan.In the same period,after the Meiji Restoration,Japan became one of the strongest countries in Europe and the United States with its social culture.Advanced technology has brought great influence on China.Studying in Japan,setting up a language school,learning Japanese has become a requirement of the times,and it has begun to appear in Chinese language textbooks in China.Books and studies that introduced Japan in this period were widely published.Over 10,000 official and privately-funded students studying in Japan went to study in Japan,which greatly promoted the development of Japanese language education in China.Entering the period of the Republic of China,under the circumstances of "anti-Japanese national salvation",it became necessary to have an in-depth understanding of Japan.Therefore,at this time,China paid great attention to Japanese research and thus "Japan research boom." In the 1930s,with the advent of "Japanese research boom",more Japanese textbooks,Dictionary,research bibliography was published.After the founding of New China in 1949,from the 1950s to the first half of the 1960s,China established a special Japanese language program in foreign language schools and comprehensive universities.During this period,China's education policy of "Russian-centered" changed the education policy of "advance to science" and Japanese education did not receive much attention.From 1966 to 1976,after the Cultural Revolution,foreign language education at the higher education level basically stopped.Japanese education has also entered a period of stagnation.With the normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations between China and Japan in 1972,between 1972 and 1976,Japanese-speaking students were recruited mainly from workers,peasants and soldiers.After the reform and opening up policy was established in 1978,China's exchanges with the countries of the world,including neighboring countries such as Japan,have become more frequent in all areas of science and culture,economy and trade.The 80s can be said to have been a period of great development in Japanese education that has never existed in China.In the 1990s,Chinese language education continued to develop and became the second foreign language after English.With the development and deepening of Japanese education,Japanese education began to improve in quality.From the beginning of 1990 to the present,it can be said that ushered in the maturity period of Chinese language education in China.First,this paper examines the records of Chinese related Japanese and analyzes its historical background.Then,we examined the status of Japanese education institutions and Japanese textbooks published in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,and analyzed the social background and reasons for the Chinese learning Japanese language boom during this period.Then,we will sort out the policies and changes in foreign language education in China since the founding of the People's Republic of China,and examine the changing course of Japanese language education in China..What kind of positioning is the Japanese education policy?Finally,through the selection and main content of Japanese textbooks after the founding of New China,the orientation and changes of Chinese and Japanese culture in Chinese textbooks in different periods are analyzed.
