Lanxi dialect belongs to the Wuzhou plot of Wu dialect. There is little published research result on the grammar of Lanxi dialect. Through getting much language information from field investigation and comparing with the modern Chinese national language—Mandarin, other dialects, and the historical documents, this paper has a detailed analysis on the Auxiliary system of Lanxi dialect. In addition, most of the auxiliary words evolve from the notional particles, so it has a reasonable explanation about their grammaticalization here. According to the Mandarin particle system, the Auxiliary system of Lanxi dialect will be divided into three types:Structure Auxiliary Word, Dynamic Auxiliary Word, and Modal Auxiliary Word.The paper includes six parts. For the introduction chapter, it describes the region, history and present research situation of Lanxi dialect as well as the idea of the research topic, method, and the source corpus. In Chapter Two we compare Lanxi dialect auxiliary words with Mandarin particle, including its research status and problem, range, characteristic and type. We also give a division of the Lanxi dialect auxiliary words. The third chapter describes Structure Auxiliary Word, such as个,呢,得.We make a distribution and function of it, and also reveal its development and evolution. The fourth chapter is the focus of this article. We make an effort to introduce some special Dynamic Auxiliary Words in Lanxi dialect which are different from Mandarin particles:在那里,过,添,去,起. The auther tries to explain their particle source from a grammatical point of view. Chapter Five is the Modal Auxiliary Word. First, we give a classification of it, and then highlight the representative Modal Auxiliary Words:来,着.Chapter Six is the conclusion together with suggestions for future research.
