Study On Theory And Countermeasures Of Accounting English For Special Purpose In Higher Vocational College

This paper constructs a theoretical framework about higher vocational accounting English for special purpose and analyses the present situation of the course upon the field investigation, and then offers some countermeasures to the exiting problems.On one hand, the paper mainly employs documentary method to finish the theory building of Higher Vocational Accounting English for Special Purpose. It puts forward that Higher Vocational Accounting English for Special Purpose is a systematic Curriculum and teaching activity, and there are three factors that influences its course designing:the Accounting English Language Features, the Study Theory of Constructivism, the Learning and Target analysis. At the same time, the paper introduces the learning-centered course design pattern for the principle method of higher vocational accounting English for special purpose course design.On the other hand, questionnaire method and interviews are adopted in this study to do the investigation to find out the present situation of Higher Vocational Accounting English for Special Purpose course. The situation analysis includes knowledge of students, the students'needs of syllabus, teaching material, teaching methods, evaluation, and the employers'needs as well. Research finds that some problems exist:(1) the shortage of learning analysis;(2) the lack of target analysis;(3) many defects in syllabus, teaching material, teaching methods. Upon the situation analysis, the paper gives some countermeasures to the existing problems:(1) to begin the learning analysis and understand the needs of students; (2) to have more target analysis and heighten the communication between college and employers;(3) to optimize the course design chains and promote teaching and learning of accounting English for special purpose.
