Research On Sense Of Security Design For Children's Products

Security is the first element of human existence, the main indicator of quality of life, the most important and basic human issues. Children are the future hope of the nation. Improve their sense of security is the basis of personality, is an important physical and mental health conditions. We should pay more attention on the importance of security for the growth of children, creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere of psychological safety. Sense of security is a subjective feeling of recourse to the objective. It is not only subject to the subjective conditions, but also guided by objective factors. Therefore, the sense of security design coordinating man, machine and environment brings visible to invisible influence on concept of children, awareness, behavior, etc. guides the positive emotional effects, and creates a safe human environment.This paper based on the sense of security concepts and theories, theory of fear acquisition, establishes a form of Security design of children's products. It combining with the physical characteristics and psychological characteristics of children study the main factor affecting children to percept security. The children's products made sense of security design principles is based on the emotional design theory of Norman, and analytical research the sensory stimulation, control and sense of belonging needs from visceral, behavior, reflective three levels. Finally, we study how the sense of security convey by the external form of products in the type, color,material and methods of security design for children's products. This paper builds an initial rational system for the Safe of children's products design. It helps us to grasp of all aspects of children's product design,to be a commander of products with the concept of the ideological system concept, program selection, evaluation, amendment process. The system brings practice theory of children's products deep into the theoretical level, and makes great interaction between theory and practice. It has positive significance on the industrial design system and research on Children's product design.
