Since the formation of human, they are changing their surrounding environment all the time for the sake of making it better for them to live.A history of human beings is a history of the continuous change of environment as well.While the human beings are changing their surrounding environment,they are thinking about their relationship with the environment at the same time.During this long exploring period,the human beings have been explaining the environment and themselves at the same time. Meanwhile,they keep making use of it and adapting it and maintaining and improving their own living environment.As has been proved by Environmental Psychology,environment can influence human psychology and action directly and human themselves.There is a mutual relationship between the environment and the human's mind.Therefore, there exists living environments that enjoy a variety of effects on human------psychological/mental environment.Wenzhou is a place which has green hills and clean water and is surrounded by mountains and girdled by a river.Since ancient times,celebrities, businessmen, officials and craftsmen are countless.Such brilliant achievement has a close relationship with its unique environment.Having been developed by several generations,it's becoming more and more suitable for them.Among the enormous success,I think the development of psychology is the most brilliant point.Through many field researches and many materials collected by the author and observation and further study,the lationship author has concluded the relationship between Huizhou settlement landscape and the local residents'psychology.What' s more, as to the psychology environment,the author has developed a construction method which suits the modern landscape design application. There is a series of principles and methods to meet the modern people' s needs of improving living environment and providing some advice on modern landscape design.
