The Design Of Visual Environment Of The Public Space In Medical Building

Recently, with the update of medical idea, hospital environment becomes a focus as a special method of psychotherapy. Public space of modern medical building is designed to provide condition for patients from not only the standpoint of biomedicine but also visual perception, behavior psychology and building environment.In the view of the interaction of "vision-behavior-space", this paper is discussed and designed visual environment of the public space in medical building in order to promote the quality of visual perception of the public space in medical building, and created the favorable visual environment to penetrate into ordered architectural space system and the whole visual environment.Paper's starting point is "visual guide behavior, behavioral decision space". Firstly, the interaction of visual, behavior and space is explained theoretically, to provide a necessary theoretical basis from the intrinsic level. Secondly, according to the users' behavioral pattern and the real problems about public space, photo chromic characteristics of visual environment and vision induction of public space are analyzed in the status of the public space in medical building. Thirdly, according to the basic ideas of "find a problem-analyze a problem - resolve a problem", the topic is analyzed and concluded from the multiple perspectives. Then some methods and strategies are produced for designing visual environment of the public space in medical building, on the basis of the spatial pattern, light and color, material and vision induction system. Lastly, the future research is perspective of some difficulties, suggestions and revelation.Today, humanistic care is promoted. The study in this paper has an important directive significant to create the harmonious visual environment of the public space in medical building. It aims at improving the characteristics of people "behavior" in the public space in medical building by optimizing visual environment.
