Contemporary china is in the period of social transformation, which is the changing progress of society from traditional to modern, from agricultural to industrial, and from closed to open. Caused by the reforms of economical, political and cultural systems, the beneficial structures of main social bodies are being adjusted and regrouped, which will surely lead to the conflicts of the value concepts and affect people's social life greatly. Therefore, we must study and handle the conflicts of value concepts. It has important theoretical significance to the smooth going of socialism modernization of Chinese character.The paper is developed according to the following logistics. Chapter one exordium brings up the researching on the base of related references summary. Chapter two defines and analyzes social transformation and the conflicts of the value concepts. Chapter three analyzes and dissertates performance, causes of the conflicts of value concepts, and gives suggestions of alleviating the conflicts of value concepts. Then the paper analyzes and studies the conflict of value concepts thoroughly and variously to comprehend the value concepts system rightly. On the base of analysis and cognition above, in Chapter four, the theoretical principles of this thesis are concluded as follows:the theory of all-round development of human being by Marx, the east-west standards by Mao Zedong, the social value standard by Deng Xiao ping.and the socialist central value system. And finally finds the countermeasures to alleviate the conflicts among different values, and makes efforts to alleviate the conflicts during the social transformation period, and benefits the social stability. Chapter five is conclusion.
