Zhongshan Grottoes in northern Shaanxi region and the north central plains region,grotto temple ,and save the good and a high artistic level of the Beisong Dynasty.In recent years, studies involving Zhongshan Grottoes article, mainly in the form of the investigation report and the imaging system within the main cave Philological research, but also the status of Buddha found inside the cave there are several different opinions. In this paper, on the basis of previous studies, through several field surveys to obtain first-hand information, and in the form of tables and appendices listed in the text, images and through these statistics show that within the Buddhist scriptures, as well as the cave inscriptions of mutual control, and other parts of imaging methods to compare Zhongshan Grottoes analysis of the principal statues, and caves of the statues was roughly divided into four time periods.Papers select a few selected major statues theme, although these themes are also more common in other areas, but the Zhongshan statues in the cave art of style with characteristics, imaging features also reflect the belief of the local. By looking for the source text in the image, and other parts of northern Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan and other places of the comparison, analysis of the grotto art style and geographical characteristics of the times. Zhongshan Grottoes features of themes and image influenced a lot by the folk culture, the text come from the folk legend, the image inside the cave is not based on the classic narrative, these reactions of the statues of civil nature of faithGrotto of the imaging characteristics of the layout and images to reflect changes in the local faith,but also reflects the caves in the hybridity of the various sects.
