His films, especially can combinethe entertainment function with ideological connotation very well, and it has constantinnovation in the fields of film technology, film language and film style . At present,the study of Tsui Hark's films also focus on these aspects, the researchers mainlyfocused on the films text meaning and film technology level, but rarely find the spacewritten charm in his films from film narration perspective. In fact, Tsui Hark is adirector with deep sense of space, what is more, he also has fruitful results of film'sspace narrate.However,this neglect not only exists in the research fields of Tsui Hark'sfilms,when we review the history of narration,will find the history of narration paygreat attention on time all the time,emphasizes narrative structure in time sequence ofconstruction, and ignore space. Film as an art of he comprehenting time and space,space have important meaning for it.So, we must move our attention from time tospace, especially the space in a narrative film.This paper is stuy Tsui Hark's films from the angle of narration,and give ourvision in the space,make the narrative space of tsui hark's movies as the researchobject, and study its movies in space narrative features.This thesis contained fivechapters. The fourth chapter is"The skill of space narrate in Tsui Hark's films", it studied the techniques of space visual, voice and time in film narrative. And the fifth chapter is "The culture of spacenarrate in Tsui Hark's films", it discussed the Social and cultural connotations of somescene spaces and film narrative style in Tsui Hark's films.
