The Linguistic Research On The Ministry Of Education Released Annual New Words Of 2006 To 2008

Chinese new words are to observe barometer of social life, and is a mirror to reflect the true face of the community. The changes of social, the development of the times, people's ideas, concepts, ways of thinking left an image in the new words. Since 2006, the Ministry of Education issued a total of 784 new words; these words are the records of the new social life and the new phenomenon. Through the release of new words annually, it can make people see the current changes in Chinese words more clearly, and make scholars conduct more in-depth and comprehensive research possible.In this paper, according to the analysis of the status of new word, we discuss the linguistic features of the annual new words, and the value of linguistics. By researching annual new words, not only help us to grasp the development of Chinese language and vocabulary system correctly, but also make the language standardization work more efficiency, and help us to understand the development and changes in today's society. Therefore, the annual new word research is a very important job, with linguistics, cultural studies, sociology, cognitive psychology, and many other significance.This paper is divided into five parts. Begin with describing the different periods of the study status of new words and expressions, topics of the purpose and significance. Chapter II interpretation of the Ministry of Education issued annual new words ,express the purpose and significance ,compare the annual new words and new words in linguistics .We found that annual new words in the word selection are different from linguistic new words. The third chapter mainly discus the annual new words from the perspective of linguistics. By studying the characteristics of the annual new words in syllable, semantics, and of the methods of coinage, we found that the annual new words maintain the inherent characteristics of Chinese language and behave some new characteristics. The fourth chapter talk about the value of lexicology and social linguistics, and offer some suggestions about standardization work. The last part is the summary of the full text, and some aspects we can do succession research .
