Historical Survey Of Opium-banning During 1935-1940 Years In Dazhu County Of Sichuan Province

From The late 1920s to the first half of 1930, China became the world's largest center of drug production and drug addiction, It has drawn worldwide condemnation. In order to eradicate this phenomenon,The Nanjing national government developed the"Drug-Banning in two Years, Opium-Banning in Six Years"program.Sichuan was the largest area of opium cultivation,the highest yield, the most populous in drug-addictting province. And Dazhu is one of the most serious counties in Sichuan province.This thesis is based on the Opium-Banning during 1935-1940 years in Dazhu county of Sichuan province . firstly,It summarized the Opium-Banning process and measures,inDazhuCounty,from.four.aspects:drug-addictting-Banning,Opium-planting-Banning,drug-Private-sale-Banning,drug-smuggling-Banning.Secondly,It studied the Opium-Banning institution ,personnel arrangements and smoking expenditure in the Dazhu County.moreover,It Discussed the reasons for success or failure of Opium-Banning in Dazhu County during 1935-1940 years.At last,it summarized the historic enlightment of Opium-Banning in Dazhu County.
