In the process of economic globalization, when Chinese people learn market economy from the western, there emerges westernization as far as culture is concerned. Western culture makes us losing ourselves while broadening our horizons. Since 1960s, many people think that Erhu, which has been widely spread among the folks for more than a thousand years, is not as good as western violin, and therefore the training techniques, training contents, and even the training direction should be westernized. This argument has never been ceased. Thus, it is the theoretical and practical issue of Erhu art needed to be promptly addressed that now we master the principle of "Make the past serve,the present and foreign sever China".Undeniably, we should learn and borrow ideas from foreign cultures and instruments for Erhu art,,but that does not mean we should copy them entirely, because "Only national is international".This article attempts to discuss the status and function of traditional Chinese opera in the development of Erhu art and explain the relationship between the root and soil of Erhu art, in the aspects of origin, nature and development of Erhu. On that basis, this article analyzes the origin relationship of Erhu art and traditional Chinese opera, artistic value and content system, indicating that traditional Chinese opera should play a more important role in the performance, creation, and briefly introducing the application of the accompaniment skills of Huqin on Erhu in the Wenchang of Chinese opera. |
