Language cannot be separated from cultural environment,and the course of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is very important in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chinese culture is bright and starry,and traditional festival culture contains the essence of Chinese culture,so traditional festival culture teaching is very important in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on situational teaching method,which originated in Britain and was introduced into China in the 1970 s,it has achieved remarkable teaching results in teaching practice.This paper will rely on situational teaching method and combine it with traditional Chinese festival culture teaching to help Thai students learn traditional festival culture knowledge effectively and improve students’ cultural acceptability.And enhance students’ communicative competence and cross-cultural awareness.The text consists of six chapters.The introduction part mainly expounds the origin of the topic selection,traditional culture teaching as a foreign language,cultural teaching methods and the development of situational teaching method in cultural teaching.The first chapter introduces the definition and characteristics of situational teaching method,and analyzes the advantages of situational teaching method in festival culture teaching.In the second chapter,the author analyzed the feasibility of teaching Chinese traditional festivals in St.Louis schools,and conducted a survey on the teaching objects through questionnaires.In the third chapter,the author analyzes the means of situational teaching method in the festival culture teaching,so that the situational teaching method can be better used in the traditional festival culture teaching practice.The fourth chapter is based on the situational teaching method for the Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival teaching design.The fifth chapter,through questionnaires and interviews,obtains feedback from students on traditional festival culture teaching,reflects on teaching,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of teaching practice and then looks forward to the application of situational method teaching in traditional festival culture teaching.In this paper,under the theoretical framework of situational teaching method,the teaching of traditional Chinese festival culture is studied,and the research methods and teaching objects are innovated.The research conclusions can provide certain reference value for the teaching of traditional festival culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
