Probbing Into The Artistic Effects Of Shandong Zheng

Due to the unique style, Shandong Zheng has great influence on many other schools of Guzheng all over the country. Taking the Four-Segment Brocade as a case study, this thesis systematically analyzes Shandong Zheng from the aspects of the technique features, style and the impact of region, music language and other music genres by applying the relative theories, methodologies and personal practice.Through the analysis, the author aims at finding the values of Shandong Zheng, describing the unique charm and the realistic meaning of this school and arousing the reflection on the heritage and development of traditional Guzheng music today.
