With its long history and strong local phonological characteristics,Shandong Zheng school is unique among many Zheng schools.A number of Zheng music works sorted,created and adapted by Shandong Zheng artists represented by Zhao yuzhai,Gao Zicheng and Han Tinggui in modern times laid a foundation for the spread of Shandong Zheng music throughout the country.As the representative work of Shandong Zheng music,high mountains and flowing water has attracted the attention of Zheng people while being widely spread.There are many versions of the Shandong Zheng music "high mountains and flowing water" heard and seen today.They are different in spectrum form,fingering arrangement and sound effect,but to sum up,they are basically from the biographies of Zhao yuzhai,Gao Zicheng and Han Tinggui.This paper will take these three versions as the research object,analyze their music score and performance,so as to explore the similarities and differences of the three versions,and then explore their commonness and individuality,the performance characteristics and aesthetic orientation of different Zheng artists.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,including the significance of the topic,research methods and research status;The first chapter will trace the development and evolution of "high mountains and flowing water" along the development of Shandong traditional Zheng music;The second chapter is the analysis of the three versions of Shandong Zheng music "high mountains and flowing water",which will be studied from two aspects: the causes of the versions and the spectral form of each version;The third chapter is the analysis of the artistic characteristics of the three versions,which will be discussed one by one from the two aspects of the individuation of operation and the uniqueness of music processing;The conclusion is the summary of the full text,which is the refinement and sublimation of the commonness and individuality of the three editions of high mountains and flowing water.At the same time,it also puts forward the opinions on how to carry forward and inherit Shandong Zheng music in the new era.This paper through the analysis of music score,audio-visual materials,and interviewing the descendants of three Chinese zither masters,sorts out their characteristics in the form of notation,performance habits and style charm.Besides,this paper will also be in a new view to analyze the music score of the three editions of "Lofty Mountain and Running Water",and draw the conclusion that these three editions with different spectrum,different styles and different performances are the embodiment of "uncertainty" and "improvisation" in the development of traditional folk music,and also the inevitable result of "oral teaching that inspires true understanding within" in traditional folk music.It is hoped that through the study of this paper,can make researchers in the study of Shandong Chinses zither song "Lofty mountain and Running Water" have reference,and also provide more researchers with provide thought and direction of related research.
