Researchs On Characteristics Of Cooperation Of University Students And Their Relations With Personality

Cooperation is the psychological inclination demonstrated by individuals'cognition, attitudes, strategies and motivation towards the cooperation of the society. A positive and healthy cooperation is one of the necessary conditions which help students to an achieve success, and which will well adapt the students to the social atmosphere. This present thesis will probe into the relation of students'cooperation to their personality features,by adopting several methods.Firstly, here is an introduction of the research background and significance of this reach from the perspective of the social reality and also the university students'reality, on the basis of which I put forward this research framwork and methodology.I set forth the model of basic configuration, after conducting the expert interviews and investigation of open questionaire to testes. On the collected data, I formulate a cooperation scale of University students(CSUS) and test university students, on whose cooperation I have made analysis and validation to the fundamental dimension and the structures of this model.By using the CSUS formulated in the research , I then test more stuents very formally, in the purpose of revealing their differences on the various levels in cooperation, which are also reflected on the difference of grades, gender, family residence and family's economic conditions.In order to probe into the existence of implicit cooperation inclination and investigate the accordance degrees of the testing results and the existence of difference between male and female students, I conduct two experiments, the first of which tries to test the subjective's reacting to cooperation-pictures and non-cooperation pictures; and the second of which tries to test the subjective's reacting inclination to cooperation words and non-cooperation words.Adopting related analysis, linear regression, the relations of cooperation to Big Five Model of Personality, achievement motivation, locus of control were investigated.According to the whole research, the mainly result is below:1. The implicti cooperation of university students consists of four parts which are humanness trait, purpose trait, sociality trait, teamwork trait, character trait. There are some grade differences in implicit cooperaton trait, and there are not on the difference of gender, family's economic conditions and family residence2. The cooperation of university students consist of four parts which are cooperation strategty, cooperation ability, cooperation motivation and cooperation inclination. The scale of cooperation trait of university students has relatively better credibility and validity. It can be used to test the cooperation trait of university students.3. The cooperation trait inclinaton university students belongs upper-middle level in general, and this can also reflected on students of different grades and gender.4. Here exist the accordance in the presentations of both explicit and implicit cooperation traits.5. The result shows that the relations of coopetativeness to Big Five Model of Personality are obviously related, while amenity is positively-related to the general cooperation.In brief, by adopting the various methods and from different perspectives, a relatively comprehensive research on the university student's cooperation psychology was made, which has provided abundant overall first-hand materials on the factors such as the configuration, features, changes and effects of university students'cooperation. To some extent, this research has enriched the research results on cooperation. It is hoped that the present research will supply psychological evidence for the fundamental education practice and help the improvement of psychological qualities of university students.
