A Study On The Planning Of City Tourism---A Case Study Of Kaifeng City

With the development of economy and the promoting living standard ofpeople, tourism is becoming one of the most important ways of life andsocio-economic activities in the contemporary society Since l980s, tourism studyhas been developing very rapidly, but as for the city field, its study is still relativelybackward, especially the research of the city tourism planning is in great need ofbeing strongly strengthened.This article applies the related principles of the city tourism planning andsynthesizes the theories and practices combining with the present situation ofKaifeng city and provides the further approach of the city tourism planning.The article is divided into fifth parts (includes preface and conclusion):Part â… : This part is the preface, it briefly introduces the historicalbackground about the domestic and abroad study of city tourism planning andsome problems produced in the course of studying. Taking Kaifeng city forexample, the author gives a further study to the theory of city tourism planningand its study methods, and expect them to be more perfect, so that they can givebetter services to the socialism modern constructing.Part â…¡:This part mainly illustrates the basic theories of the city tourism. Onthe basis of reading a great deal of city tourism theories, the author summarizesthe concept of city tourism, and studies its neccssity of the origin and thedevelopment, nature, type and effect factors, and also illustrates the tendency ofthe study of our city tourism.Part â…¢:This part illustrates the theory study of city tourism planning.Because the city tourism planning is one new branch of the planning subject, basedon the deficient date, the author thinks that the city tourism (exploiting) planningis, based on the city tourism strategic planning, combined with the citysocio-economic development planning, country land planning and city planning, tostudy city tourism resources, market situation and development conditionssynthetically to decide the position of the city tourism in local national economicand the goal of development, and to make an entire planning of how to reach thegoal. By the detailed division of main tourism market, it is to decide features,distribution, content and relevant planning indexes, to plan the cooperativedevelopment of the tourist products system, the tourist support systems and thetourist insurance system, and to do wall in disposal of the overall relationsbipbetween Iongterm and short-term, protect and development and so on in order toguide the city tourist undertaking to develop steadily in market competition.
