Market economy is a kind of competitive economy. In fact, it is against protection. However, all the countries and zones that are market economy give a difference degree protection to agriculture. The basic reason is that agriculture has a big social benefit and ecological benefit but has a low economic benefit itself. Agriculture is liable to be affected by natural conditions and it is high risk, basic and week industry. Without protection, the progress of agriculture will be very hard because of its weak conditions.
