Guangdong has achieved enormous economic growth in 1990抯. This study analyzes the demand factors and supply factors in Guangdong抯 economic growth ii~ 1990抯. In the demand side, consumption is the leading factor in 1990抯, investment takes the second and export also shows its contribution, but its impact is less than what people think. In late 1990抯, the investment demand rises to the first place, and the slow economic growth mainly owes to the slump of consumption and export. In the supply side, capital takes the dominant place in 1990抯, technology the second and labor抯 contribution is somewhat insignificant. In late 1990抯 technology becomes the overriding factor. Based on the argument above, the author further analyzes the trend of the above-mentioned factors in the new cenftiry and puts forward some strategies considering the existed problems in Guangdong抯 economy.
