21st century is the age of Information and technology, IT (Information Technology) change human life entirely, and also the mode of administration management, including tourism industry. This thesis is enclosing the background of the IT era, and the using of IT in tourism industry, try to finding out a best way for the development of tourism Industry by the using of IT. The aim on doing this research is looking for a best way on the management of HR (Human resource) for tourism industry in the IT era.The first parts of the thesis expatiate the inevitable coming of IT era and the characteristic of it. Also discuss the evolution and liberation of the IT era towards The HRM of Tourism Industry, through study the influence of IT, we try to build a new management model of tourism on fully coverage with IT used. The second part of the thesis, conclude the study with basic speciality of IT era, combine its characteristic with the HRM theory of Tourism industrytry to exploiture a new strategy of HRM in IT era. Firstly, we divide the IT era human resource into three different components: receptionist, technology engineer, and administrant. Then describe the ability require of the workers. Secondly, consult with the characteristic of IT era, looking for a newly way of HR development for Tourism Industry. Finally, combine the theory of HRM and the characteristic of IT era, innovate a new idea for Tourism Industry HRM, achieve The Tourism Industry towards modernization. The third part of the thesis, in allusion to the status of Tourism Industry of China, put forward a suggestion for the human resource exploitation of Tourism Industry for the IT era.
