As to how to gain the sustaining development of the corporation, there are two main method at present: one is the traditional tool analyzing method, such as SWOT and so on; and the other one is developed on the base of core competence. At present the method explaining the gaining of competitive advantages and the sustaining development of the corporation with the core competence theory is gradually clear, and some uniform cognition is achieved, but the theory hasn抰 shaped yet, farther research and development is needed. In this thesis ,based on the theoretic analysis of the essence of the corporation~. corporation development theory and core competence theory ,I bring forward that the core competence-based strategy is a new strategy for the development of Chinese corporations ,and the formulating of the development strategy must be shepherded by the core competence .And then I analyze some related issues about the selecting of the core competence-based specialization and diversification strategy. This thesis is composed of three parts: Part one: the development strategy and the core competence of the corporation. In this part ,I probe~ into the essence of the corporation the corporation development theory and the core competence theory. Part two: Core competence-based strategy梩he new strategy for Chinese corporation development. In this part, after analyzing the resources of the corporation, I bring forward that the core competence is the real base that promotes the development of the corporation, the core competence-based strategy is a new strategy for the development of Chinese corporations , the formulating of the development strategy must be shepherded by the core coml)etence. And then after analyzing the core competence situation of Chinese corporations, I give some advice about how to put the core competence-based strategy in practice. Part three: the selecting of the core competence-based development strategy of the corporation. In this part, I probe into some related issue about the core competence-based specialization and diversification strategy.
