The Study On Corporation Diversification Strategy And The Method Of Selectting Business

The development of core competence theory offers a new vista for the corporation strategy study. It will become the fountain which can make corporation gain the excess performance and maintain the competitive advantage. The cultivation and promotion of core competence will be the core of strategy study .The core competence is the motor and base of the corporation exploiting a new field. The base and core of the corporation multi-management also should be the constitution and promotion of core competence. This idea breaks through the traditional viewpoint attending excessively attraction of external market and lead to excess diversification?A great deal of theories and analysis demonstrate that diversification gain the exceptional performance must base on the core competence. At present the corporation core competence have not formation in our country, and the competition of intention is not drastic. So, in the direction of diversification based on core competence, corporation should pay attention to cultivate core competence in the main business, and come to carrying out diversification on base of it.This paper introduces some fledged diversification theories, and discusses especially the theories based on core competence aiming for the development conditions of our country corporation. It constitutes a model and index system using the object selection applying the idea and method of systematic engineering and combining with corporation resource, competence and diversification theories, and come into being a new method according to the basic idea of system engineering analysis method. This paper lists an example to demonstrate this evaluation method.This method emphasis especially core competence and strategic theory on basis of the rule of existing business attraction. The system analysis constructs an object business selection method according to corporation long-term scheme. At last, a program of this model using VB on the plat of windows was developed, and this will simplify the calculation.
