Sustainable development of corporation is a hot topic both in the field of theory and enterprise. A great deal of specialists in Economics and Management have devoted themselves to this question and related the papers are uncountable. Based on the theory of Core Competence this paper tries to give it a reasonable explain . At the beginning this paper analyses the source of enterprise's competition advantage and retrospects critically the pattern of Masson-Bain and Porter's theory of industrial organization. Then the author demonstrates enterprise's competition advantage is based on Core Competence. On the other hand,the theory of Core Competence is also used to analyze diversification and suggests a general principal of success.Through the analysis both in theory and in practice,the author proves Core Competence is the key point of enterprise's sustainable development. So it's very important to cultivate and develop Core Competence. This paper wants to resolve the problem from the following two aspects,the convey of enterprise's inside and outside knowledge and the establishment of study organization.
