Economic thought of taking advantage of capitalism to construct socialist is a very important part of scientific socialist ideology. It is the purpose of the dissertation to make an inquiry into it systematically. The author chiefly probes the following questions.First, the author analyzes its foundations, including the basis of methodology, the foundation of theory, the background of era and the foundation of reality, etc.Second, the author sets forth DengXiaoping economic thought of using capitalism from six aspects. These respects are: the possibility analysis of economic thought taking advantage of capitalism, the inheritance and inheritance and development of Liening and MaoZedong ideologies of utilizing foreign capital, the inheritance of the idea of studying and importing developed scientific technology and management experience, advocation of initiating special economic technology and management experience, advocation of initiating special economic areas and making them the places near a window of using capitalism, the origination of market-oriented economy theory that is the greatest contribution that makes use of capitalism ,ne country, two systems?which is the great pioneering work of using capitalism .Third, the author mainly deals with the inheritance and development of DengXiaoping economic thought of catching up with and exceeding capitalism .Last, the author concerns with the fundmental principles and the enlightening guidances which theutilization of capitalism brings to us.In a word, in order to construct our own socialist, we must study and take advantage of all cultural achievements in the world, including the capitalism.
