Studies On Economic Development Of Corn Industry In Inner Mongolia After Having Joined In WTO

In Inner Mongolia the corn industry acts an important role in solving the matter of supply of grain and the developing of animal husbandry. Now with the development of productivity and the improvement of living level, the target of corn producing is not only grain supply any more. The small scale producing pattern and single breed have the corn producing lacked of superiority. After having joined in WTO, this situation is becoming more serious.. Even some researchers proposed that we should abandon the corn industry in Inner Mongolia.The author did a deep investigation and found the major problems existed in corn industry in Inner Mongolia, then analyses producing, processing, circulating and trading on corn. Finally based on the study, the author draw a conclusion that corn industry has tremendous potential superiority and should not be abandoned easily, on the contrary corn industry should be developed with relevant plan and step.
