| The emerging of power market is a new challenge to the traditional operation and control of power system. Facing the power market, the generating scheduling software, as application software of energy management system, needs to be re-designed and improved so as to provide better services for power market management, and for safe and economic operation of power system. This paper is focused on the study of energy dispatch considering spinning reserve dispatch. The model for daily power generation schedule and spinning reserve dispatch is presented. The solving method for the model based on the network float programming is discussed. At the same time a software package to draw daily generating scheduling is developed, based on Windows operating system. The soft package provided with a friend man-machine interface and is excellent at both calculating capacity and processing speed.
