Study And Demonstration On AGC Unit Optimum Selection In Ancillary Market

It is an important matter that how to select AGC unit to participate load regulation economically and safely in electricity market. Based on competition principle, the method presented in this paper allows power network to make free choice of AGC generation, which forms an improved competition model.Firstly, we have made many researches on position about electricity market at abroad and home and analyzed the good experience of developed countries especially in ancillary service market. We have studied the situation of electricity marketization in our country and presented a math model in the term of our country's situation and the electricity policy. On the course of setting up math model, strict conditions are the keys of resolving the selection of AGC units. For these two strict values, we have given the resolving method. We have handled the datum of AGC units of Shandong and Anhui province power network. By the method in this paper, we can find the optimal value of practical problem.
