Research On Certain Law Issues Of Supervision Over Multinational Banks

With the rapid development of the finance liberalization and internationalization, multinational banks(called foreign banks below) have became an important part of the financial system of the country. Since its opening to outside, we have made some progress in the supervision over the foreign banks after several years of practices, but it was far left behind of other countries as to the depth and width of the supervision, which exist many hidden financial risks. Therefore, how to reinforce the supervision over the foreign banks using the foreign advanced experiences has became an important issue of China's legal construction.Starting from the macroscopic and microcosmic aspects of the bank supervision, the author raised several issues of the lawful supervision in the current stage of China and proposed corresponding suggestions through the comparative analysis to the policy principle, fundamental principle and supervision contents of other countries.
