Bionic Study Of Enterprise's Competitive Strategy

Bionic study is a recently emerged research method of management. It relates the phenomena in the living world with the problems of economy and management, with an attempt to explain the development and movement of non-living things with traits and evolvement principles of the organic world. On the basis of bionic study results of enterprise lifecycle and evolution, this thesis studies the competitive environment and competition strategies of enterprises from the bionic angle. Along with the development of economic integrity worldwide and the severity increase of enterprise competition, from the ecological angle, if revelations of the nature could be applied in the strategy planning and daily management fields, we will gain new inspirations and methods to solve the problems that enterprises may encounter.This thesis has four parts as a whole: the first part is general introduction, analyzing the study background, introducing the theoretical foundation and putting forward the bionic study of enterprise competitive strategies. The second part analyzes the living nature of enterprises, especially those characters that are different from organisms. This part is the premise and foundation of the thesis. The third part designs the concept model of enterprise ecosystem on the basis of natural ecosystem, and indicates the trend that the relationship between individuals of the system will turn from confrontation to cooperation and coexistence. The fourth part is the emphasis of this thesis. Using the relationship principles of competition and coexistence between individuals of the nature for reference, this part analyzes and explains how enterprises should face the competition and cooperation with others, how to survive and improve itself and how to enhance the collective evolvement of the whole enterprise ecosystem. It also puts forward the competition and cooperation strategies correspondingly.The main points of this thesis include: (1) Enterprise is a living system and composes the interrelated enterprise ecosystem together with other enterprises andthe outer environment. (2) The competition of enterprises becomes severe increasingly and the competition rules have also changed accordingly. Life-and-death struggle is no longer the only method for enterprises to win the competition, whereas coexistence and coevolvement is the foundation for enterprises to survive and develop. (3) Using the relative ecological theories such as niche, symbiosis and community, this thesis puts forward competitive strategies correspondingly for enterprises to realize its goal of survival, growth and long life.
