China and South Korea have been greatly developed in exchange and cooperation of various fields since they established diplomatic relations 10 years ago, especially economic trade cooperation is even more eye-catching. Now China is the third largest trading partner and second largest investment targeted country. South Korea is also the third largest trading partner of China. The two countries have become satisfied economic cooperative partners each other. The basic conditions on this such as the geographical location; long history of friendship; the economic complement of both countries; the success of Chinese WTO accession and the success of applying for conducting 2008 Olympic Games open the more broad prospect of the two countries cooperation.The 21st century is the age of competition and cooperation. Following the buildup of economic strength, the relation of economic and trade between the two countries has become a relation of competition in the new history period. Not only to the both countries, but also to the stabilization of the whole North-East Asia area, it has very important significance to know how to assort with the relation and try to make a harmonious and friendly environment to develop the two countries' economic.In the thesis, the author analyzes on the economic trade relations between China and South Korea from three aspects: first, on Sino-Korea trade relation, the author mainly studies on the characteristics, existing problems and future trend of it; second, the authors studies on the characteristics, existing problems and future trend of Sino-Korea investment relation; third is the competition and cooperation relations between the industrial departments of both countries, the author analyzes the fields they need to cooperate and compete with each other in the near future. The author also made a whole prospect for Sino-Korea economic relations in the last part of the thesis.
