Product Process Improvement Research At Cross-Status Of Development And Trial Production

In this paper the BPR principles are used in the study and analysis of the production process at the cross-status of development and production, a special kind of production process in an electronics manufacturing enterprise. The paper discusses objectively and dialectically the application of the BPR philosophy in current situation in China, and presents new viewpoints. In connection with the practices of process improvement, the author raises the concept of process system construction, introduces scenario analysis means and depicts the procedure and methods of process improvement and their applications in the process improvement and PDM construction of SHREE Inc. In practice, process status convert control relation is gaven out and the product process of the Company is describedand diagnosed in overhaul through IDEFO and IDEF3 models. The study, improvement solution and qualitative and quantitive comments are focused on the seven main processs that affect the cross process: information management process, development job process, goods supply process, technical support and service process, documents generation and maintenance process, trial processing process, structure and technology coordination design process. Some of the improvement solutions have been put into trial execution and have been primarily validated. The conception and methods presented in this paper can be of reference for the enterprises in the same field.
