With the rapid development of information technology and world economic integration,new method of commerce is urgently needed to satisfy the demand of economic advance. Under these conditions,electronic commerce (EC),which is based on high-tech comes into being. EC helps people carry out business affairs economically and efficiently instead of being restricted by spatio-temporal obstacles. Due to these advantages EC brings,people in every country are now sparing no efforts to develop EC. As yet,a series of policies and laws have been drawn up,emphases have been laid in information infrastructure construction so as to promote EC advancing steadily and rapidly.Since having been a member of WTO family,automobile industry as pillar industry in China is faced with unheard-of challenge. In order to overcome this challenge,We should analyze intensively domestic automobile industry disadvantages,keep pace with worldwide automobile industry development,attract and introduce zealously advanced managerial skills,make full use of the great opportunity worldwide EC upsurge brings,close the gap between native and overseas technology and management,then new era will expect to see China automobile industry prosperity.Based on the active demand in developing EC in internal automobile industry,this paper gives a summary about experience in EC building got from developed country and investigates practical situation in enterprise internal information infrastructure constructing,put forward the strategy frame to develop China EC in automobile industry. The frame embodies CNX construction,auto-EC standards and laws normalization,payment in network solution,network security enhancement,and so on. Besides these,some advice has been given to solve some difficult questions that government and enterprise probably meet in the course of EC advancement.
