The auto-industry of Hubei province has come to confront both challenges and chances after China entered the Word Trade organization (WTO). This article discusses how to improve the market competitive ability of the auto-industry in Hubei province ,China,especially the DongFeng auto-mobile company ,one of the biggest auto-works of China.The development of the auto-industry in Hubei province has certainly kept a good step with our hard work for so many years .The industry is in a large scale and there is a popular brand now . But the environment around the growth and development of the industry has changed vastly after China entered the WTO . Compared with the same international trade ,the auto-industry in Hubei has lagged behind terribly . The main problems are:(l)The members of the industry fall short of comprehension of the rules of the WTO therefore ,the management can't make full use of the rules to protect the interests of the industry ,and the workers won't adapt to the competitive market.(2)the covering of the products isn't in a rational range ;the works are small and scattered here and these. (3) The capital is severely scarce. (4) The researching and developing ability is still poor. (5) The developing strategy isn't properly planned . (6) The mechanism of employment should be strengthened . (7) The culture of the enterprise doesn't adapt to the modern competitive environment.The problems mentioned above partly come from my investigation and partly from other resources connected . They are discussed with theories of science of management and administration - Human source exploitation ,market competition and market sells and buys ,etc. It is concluded that to make the auto-industry in Hubei province grow and develop smoothly and quickly depends on how to meet the real challenges and make the chances lucky chances and depends on continuously promoting the market competitive ability of the auto-industry by strengthening human exploiting mechanism ,by making progress in product research and development ,by setting up sell nets,and by building up the enterprise's culture suitable to the market competition ,etc.
