The Developing Democratic Conception

Democratic conception is a summary or refinery from democratic practice,at the same time it can direct that practice. The development of democratic conception ran through the movement of democracy. Based on historical materialism,the article studied the development of Marxist democratic conception and that of developing countries,especially that of China,from view of political philosophy. After analyzing,the article came to three conclusions. First,democratic conception is the product of the interaction between economic base and superstructure. Second,the progress of democratic conception is a unity of universality and particularity. Third,the process of democratic conception has its stages as well as continuance.
