On The Freedom Of Administrative Information

The freedom of administrative information has become a common need of people in the information economy era. The legislation of freedom of administrative information has become a worldwide tendency since the latter half of twentieth century.The thesis made a research into the freedom of information's concept, theory and system, demonstrated the meaning of the Freedom of Information, and distinguished it with several familiar concepts. Then it summarized the characteristics and common principles of the Freedom of Information Act of different countries in applicable subject, scope, procedure and supervision. The thesis also analyzed the practices of China's Openness of Government affairs, commended the achievements of the movement, pointed out it's defects, and made suggestions on the establishing of China's Freedom of Information legal system.
