The Analyses On The Internal Obstacles Of The Korean Peninsula Unification From The View Of Political Ideology And National Interest

In this paper, the author, in chapter 1-2, first discusses the concept & function of the political ideology and the concept & attribution of the national interest. According to the facts in the Korean peninsula, the author then discusses the relations between the political ideology and the national interest. After having reviewed the historical process of the separation and confrontation in the peninsula from the point of ideological view, the author discloses the function of the political ideology in the separation and confrontation process in the Korean peninsula.In chapter 3-4, the author analyses the political ideologies and the national interests of the two Korean nations, then discusses the internal obstacles to the peninsula unification on the issues of the political ideologies and the national interests. In my opinion, these obstacles are:1. About the political ideology: (1) the principal part of people in the unification; (2) the prerequisites of the unification; (3) the nature of the unified state in future; (4) the great unity of the whole nation; (5) the common ground of the entire people.2. About the national interest: (1) the troops in South Korea; (2) the state structures of the unified nation in future .In chapter 5, the author argues that the real nature of the obstacles to the Korean peninsula unification is the political power, which hides behind the political ideologies and the national interests of the separated nations. In the end, the author cautiously predicts the prospects of the Korean peninsula unification.
