Study On Development And Spatial Distribution Of Hangzhou's Foreign Direct Investment

It is a world of open and economy globalization today. The international capitalflow carried by Multinational Company is the most important impetus promoting Chineseeconomy development. The Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) and urban development aremotivated by each other. The integrated advantage and favorable investment environment of cityare the basic to attract foreign capital,and the foreign capital speeds the growth of economy andsociety synchronously,and it's also a prominent factor to affect urban spatial evolvement for localchoice of foreign capital corporation. This paper discusses the spatial distribution characteristicand the influencing factors of foreign investment from the space and the evolution of HangZhou'sFDI. Generalizing actuality and prospecting future,and seeking for well-stimulated relationshipsbetween city development and FDI is the cause of this study.This paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1 From the background of this study,this chapter establishes the research purpose,innovation,framework and route.Chapter 2 From various perspective,this chapter reviews the theories and practice of foreigndirect investment and puts forward the meaning of this research.Chapter 3 Looking back the development progress of Hangzhou's FDI,this chapter summarizesthe peculiarities from gross scale,invest direction,original structure and invest mode.Chapter4 From the macroscopically perspective,this chapter analyzes the spatial distribution ofHangzhou'FDI,investigates the divisional spatial density distribution of Hangzhou'FDI throughthree levels,and summarizes the respective traits.Chapter 5 From the microcosmic perspective,this chapter researches the factors of influencinglocal choice through two levels with questionnaire survey,and then explains the relationship withthe characteristic of spatial distribution.Chapter 6 This chapter generalizes the influence carried by FDI in the field of economy,societyand spatial development,brings forward the spatial development requests of FDI to adapt the newdevelopment trends,advances constructive envisions on future spatial distribution,and then putsforward some suggestion to promote the development of FDI from policy perspective in the end ofthe chapter.
