Our age is so highly knowledge-oriented that it becomes impossible to think work or live without knowledge and education. The ability to learn and apply new knowledge is directly related to individual success as well as business success. Continual and life-long education is the absolute and the only choice in order to build capable management teams and even stronger nations. My thesis focuses on the importance of continual training for the medium and high ranking managerial employees of enterprises. In order to increase our global competence and to meet the growing demands,off-the-job training is mandatory on our road to globalization.I elaborate my opinion in 4 parts as the following:Part 1. Theoretical study on personnel and human resource basedon labor-cost and motivation theory.Part 2. The necessity for off-the-job training for managerial employees of enterprises.a. Pressure from a developing and changing surrounding.b. Make-up for the short-comings of our test oriented education.c. More advantages to offer as to better motivate people . Part 3. Feasibility study for carrying out off-the-job trainingprogram based on cost and return analysis and successful case study. Covering issues like costs and returns methods applied as well as couching teams and solutions are supplied. Part 4. More suggestions on off-the-job training program.
