On The Regulation Of China's Monopoly Price

Facing the transition from Planned economy to Market economy, multiform monopolies are- still affecting or obstructing China's economical development in different realm. The economy research and practice shows that only effective governmental regulation will help to gain the status of competition.This paper tries to put forward some views and advice to the governmental regulation in China through analysis on the source and characteristics of various monopolies and the experience of developed countries. First, the paper clarify the necessity on the basis of the theories of monopoly and regulation; secondly, through the analysis of three typical kinds of monopoly, brings out the view of "different measure for different monopoly"; finally, the paper gives some advice on the reform or improvement of nowadays regulation system of monopoly price.
