Research On The Development Of Intermediary Business In Our Commercial Banks

After our country's entering WTO, It is going to be opened in all the different ways in financial market. The foreign banks will compete with domestic banks in business field firstly with their advanced management and operation. As the production of financial deepening and financial competition, Intermediary business has developed a lot under the situation of less financial control, the development of financial market and the increasing public demands, and has become the main resources of contemporary international banks. Intermediary business has become the very important part for the commercial banks to refine its operation structure, improve its operation effects, develop new increasing points of profit in suit of the development of financial markets. Thus the innovation and development of our intermediary business has become very urgent. This thesis has studied the development strategy of our commercial banks' intermediary business thoroughly through comparing the condition of intermediary business in Western commercial banks with Chinese.This thesis consists of four parts. The followings are the main points of each part:1. The basic problems of intermediary business. It relates to the concept, nature, characteristics and varieties of intermediary business, and it also distinguishes between intermediary business and some other related concepts.2. The development of intermediary business in Western commercial banks. This part analyses the development conditions, reasons and tendency of intermediary business in Western commercial banks.3. The development situations of intermediary business in Chinese commercial banks. This part discusses the problems of the development of intermediary business in Chinese and compares the conditions of intermediary business in Western commercial banks with Chinese.4. The research on the development of intermediary business in our banks. This is the key of this thesis. And in this part, the author puts forward the basic train of thought on the development of intermediary business in our banks and the focal point of the development of intermediary business at present.
