Study On Develop Strategy Of Ports In Liaoning Province

Since the implement of the policy of reform and opening to the outside world by the government, Liaoning province' s economy has been growing rapidly, and at the same time, ports also got a fast development. In recent years, Dayaowan port of Dalian, Bayuquan port of Yingkou, Dadong port of Dandong as well as Jinzhou port has been constructed consecutively. A pattern of development in different levels with Dalian port and Yingkou port as the core, Jinzhou port and Dandong port as the backbone is primarily formed. The development of ports has boosted the economy of Liaoning province, Jilin province, Heilongjiang province and the east of Neimenggu province.Adapting to the development trend of economy globalization, meeting the requirement of national modernization and led by international shipping market, the target of port development in Liaoning province is to construct high efficient, reliable modernized ports with rational structure, clearly arranged layout, complete function and free-flow information.This paper qualitatively analyzes status quo of the coastal ports in Liaoning province, collects the data of GDP, the throughput of each port and the total amount of import and export. By Eviews4. 0 and Spssll.O, it forecasts the future throughput and gives the strategy of the development of ports in Liaoning province.
