In the case, the author briefly introduces the development of Meitong, amedical apparatus manufacturer ,as well as medical apparatus industry inthe recent years .The focus is to describe the difficulties and challengesfaced by Meitong in its product planning, sales and marketing.In the case study, first the author analyzes the whole medical apparatusindustry environment, competitive situation in medical apparatus; then,discusses Mekong's current situation and its management structure,meanwhile, analyzes the service, sales and marketing (7P's) and mainrivals of its main product monitoring (Obstetric central monitoringnetwork system).Through analysis, the author makes judgment andconclusion regarding Meitong's SWOT and operation problems,particularly marketing problems.Finally, the author gives improvement suggestion for Meitong'smanagement structure, and R&D mechanism; as well as Meitong'smarketing strategy, sales strategy.
