Food security in quality currently is one of the hot global issues, while science and technology is the key to solve the problem of food security in quality. Therefore, in the coming period of time in the future, what are the emphases of technology types and categories? And how about the strategies to develop these key technologies? All of these are the important project to be worthy of studying.Lots of successful models and thinking of the development for the food-security technologies have been derived from the strategy studies conducted before. But special and systemic studies on the strategy for the technologies of food security in quality haven't been reported. In the past relative studies, the researches only concern partial contents of food safety, and the methodologies mostly adopt single theoretic and qualitative analyses, while the integrated methodology with combining theoretic analyses, symbolic statistics and evaluation hasn't been seen in these kind of studies.In this paper, the principal of integrating qualitative and quantitative analyses was strictly adopted, firstly by using the methodology of qualitative analyses, the basic connotation of food security in quality was pointed out, the statement for partitioning 4 periods of the evolvement of connotation for food security in quality was stated, 3 kinds of main driving factors on the issue of food security in quality were summarized, the concept and its characteristics of the technologies of food security in quality were also completely described, and the technologies of food security in quality were classified at first time in 4 points of view about the period of technology supporting, discrepancy of technology's function, emphasis particularly on objective and field belongings of technology, eventually an evaluation indicator system for the key property on the technology of food security in quality was established. Based on the above qualitative studies, combining the data collected from the social typical sampling investigations with the reliability analysis by using methodology of symbolic statistic, an evaluation methodology for the key property on the technology of food security in quality was explored, Finally case studies of the evaluation methodology for the key property on the technology of food security in quality were conducted, important technology types and categories for the food security in quality were selected in the view of strategy, and series of countermeasures for macroscopic development of the technology of food security in quality were also put forwarded.
