2001 Year December 11, the country formally become the member of the world trade organization. Being member state of WTO, Chinese market must open to all members' state of WTO. According to the relevant agreement, our country will gradually cancel to all kinds' restriction of the foreign capital banks. In 5 years, the foreign capital bank will compete under the equal policy terms and our state-owned banks .It will to become the mightiness impact to Chinese state-owned banking that have been in the high protecting degree and in the lower opening degree being.For long time, our country state-owned commercial banks are placed in the nation administration controlling and protecting, they have demand of commercial bank marketing activity, although heading for the market in recent years, and adapt to the same profession compete in the process, on the whole, our country bank still be short of supplies in managing idea and applying and there is a big gap between our commercial bank and foreign capital bank in the margin for competing with foreign capital bank.Once the protect period is over, so foreign capital bank have owned the better property quantity with good reputation, more advanced management mechanism and service means, it will take to our country commercial bank challenging.
