Construct A Modern Logistics Group By Reorganizing The Existing Logistics Resources

Having carefully analyzed the macroeconomic environment, the current situation and existing resources of logistics in our country, the author arrived at the conclusion that the logistics industry is a developing industry with a bright prospect. In the author's view, it is necessary and feasible to mobilize the logistics resources to form some modern logistics groups. It is not only beneficial to the better operation of medium- and small-sized logistics enterprises, but advantageous to rational utilization of resources. The author suggests to build modern logistics groups in the form of virtual organization based on the fourth part logistics theory. The thesis systematically expounds all the arguments and puts forward enterprise's objectives. The organization is to meet customers' requirements and aims at their satisfaction, as well as and provides the customers with excellent, quick and timely service. Such a logistics organization shall consist of the headquarter, the core business and member firms. The organization should be structured with network system, cooperative enterprises and large scale. A market survey conducted by the author revealed the fact that there exists a huge demand for logistics in China, and the target customers are mostly medium- and small-sized enterprises. The author also analyzes the possibility of gaining impressive economic benefits. The ultimate goal is to promote the development of logistics business and make full use of the resources.
