| With the establishment of market economic and enterprise spirit, people have regard capital management as a new economic category. Capital management were discussed in this thesis on the view of shipping enterprises in our country aiming at providing scientific method for shipping enterprises.First, the paper summarized the necessity, possibility and significance of carrying out capital management in shipping enterprises. Second, the initial research is made on capital management of shipping enterprises which included the conception and characteristics of capital management and capital, the content and forms of capital management in shippingenterprises----shipping capital management, financial capital managementand property right capital management, as well as the present condition how shipping enterprises carrying out the three kinds of capital management and the existing problems. Third, different models are provided for different forms of capital management in shipping enterprises, the first decision model is about how to deal with old carriers and the optimum time how to renew the old carriers is defined. The second decision model is about M&A and the economical profit model which is better than the Woston Model is put forward. Considering how to minimizing the risk, the model of optimum composed plan is created for the enterprises to invest with when the shipping enterprises had got limited funds. Last, the suggestions considering both the interior and the exterior of enterprises are put forward for shipping enterprises to resolve the existing problems.
