Research On Chinese International Technology Trade Related With TRIPs

With the wide application of the technical production in the world, technology becomes the object of the trade and the dominating impelling force. 《Agreement on Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights》(TRIPs) made on Multilateral trade negotiation " Uruguay Round " indicates that world Intellectual Property comes into a global protection stage with high standard and high level, Intellectual Property has penetrated into international trade from traditional cultural field. As a general attendee, we China has signed the package agreements including TRIPs, our Intellectual Property protection system will tend to consistency with the world. This study attempts to fill some of gapes in how Chinese international technology trade will get along under the TRIPs, and to draw implication for policy constitutor.This paper retrospects the general situation on TRIPs first, and then conducts a multi-viewpoint and multi-profile analysis on Chinese international technology trade from the point of theory, defining the conception of intellectual products and primary intellectual products, indicating that China should make full use of labor comparative advantage, export primary intellectual products and import intellectual products. In what follows, this study uses the regression as the methodology based on the export data to test and explain the above-mentioned results. The analysis indicates that with the increase of the ratio of dependence on export in Chinese market, the ratio of contribution on export of the primary intellectual products will keep the positive accretion, which points out that China should persevere in supporting the internal enterprises' production specialization and primary intellectual products export, this way, we could form the partial comparative advantage on this product, consequently accumulating capital and ultimately realizing the escalation of the industrial structure, which is the central conclusion as well as the primary innovation. In the last part, the paper discusses the implication of this research.
