A Study On The Construct Validity Of Administrative Aptitude Test For Government Functionary In GD Province

Objective: To investigate into the construct validity of Administrative Aptitude Test (AAT) for government functionary in GD province. Methods: 3312 people in year of 2001, 4990 in year of 2002, who took part in the AAT for government functionary in GD province;AII of the datas split into two parts.One part is in use of EFA.the other is in use of CFA.Results: (1)AAT is valid in testing administrative aptitudes such as 'mathematical aptitude', 'language aptitude' and 'reasoning aptitude'. (2)3-fact-model is the best model to express the construct of AAT which involving 'mathematical aptitude', 'language aptitude' and 'reasoning aptitude'. (3)'Reasoning scale' contains at least two kinds of aptitude. (4)'Data analysis' is a kind of reasoning aptitude . Conclusion: AAT has high construct validity, though adjustment is still needed in the construct and content of AAT.
