Administrative Aptitude Test use standardized tests mainly to investigate thebasic work ability of the people who undertake work in government agency.Administrative Aptitude Test is developed on the basis of general cognitive ability.First, researcher previewed a large number of National Civil ServiceExaminations and Provincial Civil Service Examinations, and combined with tests ofgeneral cognitive ability dimensions test to design Administrative Aptitude Test.According to describing statistical analysis, project analysis, expert interviews and soon, modified Administrative Aptitude Test (first draft).At the same time, determinedthe testing time of the Administrative Aptitude Test, and formation of the final draft ofthe Administrative Aptitude Test.Second, with university students and corporate staff as subjects,this thesis hasinvestigate the reliability, construct validity, cross validity, criterion-related validityand incremental validity of Administrative Aptitude Test assessment. The resultsshow as follows.1. The results reveal that reliability of Administrative Aptitude Test was0.717,with good distinction. Correlation of Administrative Aptitude Test Evaluationbetween any two subtest ranges from0.142to0.300, correlation and some distinctionexist between any two subtests. The correlation between the score of each subtest andthe total score varies from0.533to0.742, each score has significant contribution tothe total score and there is no multicollinearity between them. The thesis inspected theconstruct validity of Administrative Aptitude Test by confirmatory SEM, fit index ofthe model. There is no significant difference in gender. Correlation between theAdministrative Aptitude Test Score and subjects’ marketing knowledge is significant;subjects’ Administrative Aptitude Test Score is significantly related with staff in postperformance and Students’ Academic performance is significantly with MathematicalAptitude. The results show good criterion-related validity.2.The results show that the practice effect the score of each subjects; studentshave a higher score compared to the working population; Males have better ability in Mathematical aptitude, but there is no difference in Reasoning Aptitude; Sciencestudents’ score、Date Analysis score and total score is higher than liberal arts students’,but there is no significant differences in score and Judgment score between them; Theresults also show significant difference that those students whose parents have higheducation would obtain a higher score in Administrative Aptitude Test.3. Investigation into the relationship between Big Five Personality Test andAdministrative Aptitude Test. The results show that, there is no significant correlationbetween Big Five personality dimensions and Administrative Aptitude Test exceptopenness has significant positive correlation with Language Aptitude andMathematical Aptitude. Regression analysis results show that AdministrativeAptitude Test had good incremental validity over Big Five Personality Test.
