Research On The Development Strategy Of Stone Industry Of Yunfu

The Yunfu stone industry has made significant achievements in terms of its scale after twenty-years' development. But due to the change of the environment, the fiercer market competition, and the opportunities and challenges brought by China' s pending entry of WTO, the enterprises are now facing a hard choice as to what they will do in the future.The thesis, choosing the Yunfu stone industry as its research subject, starts from the investigation of the present situation and problems in the development and the competition of the stone industry in domestic and abroad. It analyzes and studies the stone industry in Yunfu city by applying Professor Michael E. porter' s theory of the competition Advantage of Nations, value chain analysis theory , and enterprise' s core competition theory , puts forward the consideration of gaining the long-term competition advantage in a way of cultivating and increasing the core competition capacity of stone industry enterprises.The thesis makes a comprehensive analysis and comparison of the Yunfu stone industry by applying the frontier of the strategic management, the result of which is of great help for the understanding the present competition situation and the existing problems.
